Welcome to the Barn!

When you step into the barn, you feel very calm and peaceful. It’s a special kind of quiet that happens when you’re near a horse.

You don’t need to know much about horses to have fun with them. You don’t need any experience. Just be yourself!

Your adventure starts when you go to the horse stalls. Horses are really good at understanding people and giving them what they need. That’s why we let you choose your horse. Or, actually, the horse will choose you! One horse will seem perfect for you. That horse will be your new friend.

Becoming friends with a horse means learning how to lead them, brush them, and move around them safely. Next, you’ll learn how to talk and listen to each other by doing simple ground exercises like walking in circles. This helps you understand how your horse moves and thinks.

Each thing you learn will make you more confident. If you’re up for it in our two-hour session, you can learn to put a saddle on your horse and ride them. But it’s okay if you don’t want to ride.

At the end of your time, you can hang out with your horse. They might eat grass or you can feed them in the barn. It’s a nice way to feel even closer to your horse.
